HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY YOU’RE HAVING PAIN? OR HOW TO GET BETTER?

Do you want to perform better in your sport? We can help you run faster, jump higher, throw harder or hit it farther.

At Kinetic Sports Medicine and Performance we have a full biomechanical testing suite with the latest technology used by NCAA D1 teams, MLB, NFL and NBA organizations. We utilize Hawkins Dynamics force plates, Noraxon 3D motion analysis and isometric strength testing to break down how you move and why you move in a certain way.

Whether your goal is to improve your performance, return to play after an injury or prevent injury in the first place, testing in our lab will give you answers and help you lay out a specific plan to enhance your strengths and target your weaknesses.

What Can We Assess?

1

Strength:

  • Safely Measure Max Strength
  • Quantify how quickly you can generate force
  • Look for asymmetries from side to side
  • Complete a force-velocity profile to target specific training qualities
  • Compare to normative ranges based on age, sport and gender

Once we know what is important to you, we can tailor our evaluation to your needs.

2

Power

  • Double leg, single leg and repeat jumps on force plates
  • Give insight into jump strategy
  • An athlete's unique jump characteristics
  • How good an athlete is at producing and absorbing force
  • Asymmetries from side to side
  • Compare to normative ranges based on age, sport and gender

3

3D Motion Analysis

  • Quantify movement strategy
  • Measure specific joint angles
  • Look for high risk movement mechanics that may contribute to injury
  • Identify inefficiencies that may be impacting performance

Why Should You Test at the Athletic Performance Lab?

To develop an individualized plan, based on data and science. As an athlete, you work too hard to leave your performance or your rehab up to chance and guesswork.

Our modern technology can answer questions like:

  • “Am I at risk for injury?”
  • “Am I strong enough for my sport?”
  • “Am I explosive enough for my sport?”
  • “Are my mechanics holding back my performance?”

Let us help you during your journey to return-to-play or maximize your performance.
