Today, we are excited to be joined by Dr. Tim Suchomel, an expert in Olympic weightlifting and weightlifting derivatives. Dr. Suchomel is an assistant professor of exercise science and the program director for the Master of Science and Sport Physiology and Performance program at Carroll University. He became interested in the Exercise and Sport Science in order to improve athletic performance. Dr. Suchomel pursued his PhD in order to have the opportunity to both teach and perform research in order to help students improve their understanding of the many aspects that contribute to an athlete’s performance.
